Fourth LTT in Croatia - Zagreb

In the week between March 14th and 18th of the year 2021, several partners participating in Erasmus + “Let me tell you a story” were present in Croatia, more specifically in the city of Zagreb. The partners were all staying at the Lavica hotel.

Hotel “Lavica” is situated in the heart of Samobor, one of the oldest and most popular excursion spots in Croatia, only 25 km from Zagreb, near the Old Town, among the plane trees and next to the Samobor Museum.

On the first day, we were very well received at the host school, having been presented with a welcome ceremony, with several presentations by the school's students.

That same morning, there was a tour of the school and the partners gathered and presented a work about local writers. On the same day, there was a workshop, lunch at school and free time.

The following day, March 15th, we traveled to another city, “Ogulin”, and visited “Ivana's House of Fairy Tales”, which also included a workshop.

On Wednesday, we returned to the host school and there were several visits to the classrooms, which involved a certain interaction with the students of these classes and their respective teachers. On the same day, the partners of this mobility presented their mascot, the mascot of Madeira (Portugal) being voted the winner.

After this vote, several teams were created as part of another workshop, called “Let me tell you a Digital Story”, an activity that was excellently organized.

During this day, after lunch, we went to the city center of Zagreb and were received at the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth. Here, the different realities in education in the different countries of the partners present were shared. It was a very enriching sharing.

On the 17th of March, Thursday, we visited the “Plitvice Lakes”, a visit that allowed us to observe the fantastic unique and natural beauty of these lakes. Thus, it was a different day, of knowledge and interaction between the various partners of this project.

Finally, on Friday and the last day of the mobility, we visited the host school again, and the partners had a final meeting, the evaluation of this mobility and a look at the next ones, and afterwards the participation certificates were distributed. Having said that, we returned to the hotel. In the evening, the final dinner was held at the Zlatni Dukat Restaurant, with moments of sharing, interaction, fun and a very pleasant atmosphere.

These learning experiences gained from the stay abroad were indeed beneficial for future professional work as a teacher.

The Erasmus+ program represents one of the most tangible European achievements in

bringing people together and creating a sense of transformative experiences, raising qualifications and improving prospects for all participants to better succeed in life.

The delegation from Portugal, Madeira island is very grateful for all the hospitality of the Croatian partner for everything.

A good one......

Compliments,

Buno, Paulo, Élvio, Sílvia e Josefa
